First Neymar, now Kylian Mbappe
It’s already been a historic summer for PSG, and it’s about to get even more ridiculous.
PSG shocked world football signing Neymar from Barcelona in a world record 222 million euro bid.
As many try to figure out how PSG will be able to comply with UEFA’s Financial Fair Play rules regarding the Neymar deal, the big news in France on Sunday is that Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe is joining PSG too.
Journal Du Dimanche with the story
French paper Journal Du Dimanche have splashed the news that Mbappe is moving to PSG on their front page.
Digging into the details, JDD announce that Monaco are “resigned” to losing the sought-after French striker to their main competitor, PSG.
Mbappe is poised to sign a five year deal to move to Paris.
With less than a fortnight remaining in the summer transfer window, JDD say that Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev has lost hope that Mbappe will stay at the club.

Bad news for Real Madrid
The Mbappe-PSG deal is bad news for Real Madrid, who had been thought to be leading the chase for the 18-year-old attacker.
JDD report that Mbappe was keen on joining Real Madrid, especially if Gareth Bale was going to leave the club.
However the teenager has been swayed to play alongside Neymar ad Edinson Cavani, due to offers of “guaranteed game time”.
Readers are told that “Florentino Perez knows it’s now out of question that Mbappe will one day wearing the while jersey.”
It’s believed PSG will spend 180 million euros on the Monaco striker.

What about Julian Draxler?
At the same time, rumours are knocking about in England on Sunday that PSG’s Julian Draxler may move t o either Arsenal, Liverpool or Man United before the window shuts.
If the Mbappe deal transpires, then Draxler’s opportunities in Paris will seemingly be even more restricted.
