PSG try and close the signing of Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez

Will Alexis Sanchez be an Arsenal player next season?

These are worrying times for Arsenal fans, who must be far from certain where Alexis Sanchez will be playing his football next season.

Arsene Wenger continues to talk as if the Chilean superstar will see out his contract at The Emirates next season.

But, continual reports suggest that Alexis Sanchez could well leave this summer.

PSG: A good option for Alexis & Arsenal?

Considering how Arsenal do not want to sell Alexis Sanchez to a domestic rival, PSG have surely got to be one of the best options for the Chilean attacker.

They play in the Champions League, Arsenal don’t next season, and the Parisians are flush with cash and ambition.

Bayern Munich, another side linked with Alexis, have already pulled out the running, leaving PSG as his most likely non-Premier League club to join.

PSG try and close the signing of Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez

Le Parisien report on Thursday that PSG sporting director Antero Henrique has left the club’s tour of the USA in an attempt to conclude the transfer of Alexis Sanchez.

Henrique is returning to Paris and then will travel to London to attempt to convince Arsenal to sell.

Incredibly, the local Paris newspaper reveal that Henrique is working on two deals: for Alexis Sanchez and the mega transfer of Neymar.

PSG to make 40 million euro offer

Le Parisien suggest PSG will offer Arsenal 40 million euros.

Even if Alexis kicks up a fuss, and with one year left on his current deal at Arsenal, it would be a massive surprise if the Chilean left The Emirates for anything less than 50 million pounds.

PSG are keen to add reinforcements to their attack in the coming weeks, with Edinson Cavani scoring the majority of their goals last season.

The Parisians are also looking to rebuild after coming second in Ligue 1 to Monaco and having been embarrassed in their Champions League two-legged defeat to Barcelona.
