PSG & Thomas Tuchel
Le Parisien have posted an update on the latest PSG transfer rumours.
PSG now have Thomas Tuchel in the dugout as Unai Emery is now with Arsenal.
Last summer was huge for PSG as they signed Neymar from Barcelona and Kylian Mbappe from Monaco.
The Parisians aren’t expected to do anything like the same amount of business this summer. Yet, according to Le Parisien, the Ligue 1 giants are looking towards the Premier League for defensive reinforcements.
Tottenham’s Jan Vertonghen & Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger
Le Parisien list Tottenham’s Jan Vertonghen and Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger as PSG summer targets.
Starting with Vertonghen, the Belgian has a year to run on his current Tottenham deal.
Many Spurs fans are hoping that Vertonghen will put pen to paper on a new deal to commit his future to the Lillywhites.
Le Parisien steer clear of suggesting how much PSG may have to offer Spurs to sign Vertonghen.
Readers are only told that Vertonghen is “seducing the Parisians”.
As for Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger, the 25-year-old has four more years to go on his Blues contract.
PSG are keen on the German international as Rudiger can play in a couple of positions in the backline.
Again, Le Parisien don’t list a price tag for the Chelsea defender.
Axel Witsel not N’Golo Kante?
Le Parisien also consider what midfielders may move to the French capital this summer.
For weeks rumour shave been swirling around linking N’Golo Kante with PSG.
However the French daily believe any deal for the Chelsea World Cup winner will be incredibly difficult.
As an alternative, Tuchel is reportedly interested in Belgium’s Axel Witsel.
Other players said to be on PSG’s viewfinder are former Swansea midfielder Renato Sanches and Borussia Dortmund full-back Raphael Guerreiro.
