Premier League trio make contact as Harry Kane informs Tottenham of desire to move on

Premier League trio make contact as Harry Kane informs Tottenham of desire to move on

Harry Kane has reiterated his will to depart Tottenham Hotspur this summer, according to reports.

‘Win team trophies’

Speculation surrounding the future of Spurs talisman Kane has of course come back to the fore in a major way of late.

Late last month, the English international sent tongues wagging, after opening up on his desire to win ‘team prizes’, during an acceptance speech at the London Football Awards:

‘When I look back at the end of my career, these are all the things I’ll go over and take in a little bit more, but the goal right now as a player is to win team trophies,’ the 27-year-old explained.

‘As much as this is great, I want to be winning the biggest team prizes. We’re not quite doing that. It’s bittersweet, but it is what it is. I’m proud to win [Premier League Player of the Year], it’s been a good season on the pitch.’

Kane’s honesty, whilst not exactly an admission of unhappiness in itself, was widely viewed as a come and get me plea by fans, ahead of the opening of the summer transfer window.

This comes with the hitman, despite having long been regarded as one of world football’s finest in his position, yet to secure a single piece of silverware across his senior career to date.

Tottenham, for their part, swiftly responded to the mounting chatter surrounding their star attacker by slapping a £125 million price-tag on his head.

Kane wants out

As outlined above, though, if the latest word stemming from the English media on Monday is to be believed, then it appears that Kane himself is ready to do whatever it takes to convince the Lilywhites of a sale.

As per a report from Sky Sports News, the striker has ‘again told’ his long time club that he is no longer happy, and wants to move on.

In turn, it is suggested that Spurs, for the first time, are ready to take Kane’s wishes into account, with the north Londoners already on the lookout for a replacement.

In terms of interest in the Englishman, all of Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United are said to have made contact with Kane’s representatives.

This comes with the attacker keen to remain in the Premier League.
