Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Chelsea took a major step towards a move taking place following a meeting on Thursday evening.

Chelsea now need to work on a deal with FC Barcelona who are currently asking for too much for the 33-year-old.

Aubameyang & Chelsea “very positive” meeting

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Chelsea are on the same page regarding personal terms, according to Fabrizio Romano.

On Thursday evening, the two parties met and held “very positive” talks.

Now, the deal will be about Barça lowering their €30 million price tag.

Currently, the Catalan club are reluctant to lose the forward who is part of Xavi’s plans and also with Memphis Depay expected to leave.

Thomas Tuchel will be hoping to reunite with a player who he had a very successful relationship with at Borussia Dortmund.

The 33-year-old netted a stunning 79 goals in 95 appearances whilst also registering 17 assists whilst working with the German coach.
