Recent reports suggest we could see a mass exodus at Manchester United during the 2022 summer transfer window.

Erik ten Hag is due to take over at Manchester United next week. Ten Hag is staying in London after arriving by private jet on Wednesday following the close of Ajax’s season, and he will watch United's final game of the season at Crystal Palace this weekend from the stands.

The Dutchman is set to meet with the players for the first time when he officially takes over on Monday.

During the first few months of his reign, Ten Hag will have the unenviable task of sorting out Manchester United’s disjointed, ego-filled squad.

And, according to the Daily Mail, it looks as though something of a mass exodus is being planned.

They claim that up to 10 players are expected to leave Old Trafford this summer, as Ten Hag seeks to make a fresh start.

Representatives for England goalkeeper Dean Henderson have re-opened talks with Newcastle ahead of the summer whilst Manchester United will listen to offers for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Elsewhere, Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Nemanja Matic, Juan Mata and Lee Grant will all become free agents at the end of June.

Furthermore, United are ready to offload centre-backs Eric Bailly and Phil Jones, while Harry Maguire's future could also be in doubt if Ten Hag strengthens in that position

There are also question marks over the futures of both Anthony Martial and, to a lesser extent, Marcus Rashford.
