One in, one out: Two Wolves transfers confirmed

The transfer team at Molineux have enjoyed a productive day

Both an incoming and outgoing at Premier League outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers have been confirmed late on Monday evening.

First comes a major, albeit long predicted departure from Bruno Lage’s defensive ranks.

The player moving on with a view to the new campaign? Conor Coady.

As confirmed in an official statement across social media, stopper and club captain Coady has sealed a return to his home town, to link up with boyhood club Everton.

The transfer comes in the form of a season-long loan, featuring the option to buy in 12 months’ time:

‘Defender Conor Coady has completed a season-long loan move to Everton, with an option for the Merseyside club to make the transfer permanent.’

Less than an hour on from news of Coady’s exit being made official, though, an imminent arrival at Molineux has too been confirmed.
