Tottenham Hotspur have, on Friday, announced the latest addition to Antonio Conte's squad.

The player to have taken his talents to north London ahead of the 2022/23 campaign? Yves Bissouma.

The latest week had of course seen reports spread like wildfire that midfield all-rounder Bissouma was inching towards a move to England's capital, after being identified by Daniel Levy and co. as the ideal addition to Spurs' ranks in the middle of the park.

This comes amid the aforementioned Conte's ongoing efforts to build the kind of squad capable of competing on four fronts next time out, on the back of the Lilywhites' return to the Champions League.

In turn, after Rodrigo Bentancur's January arrival, Brighton & Hove Albion standout Bissouma has today followed suit.

As per an official announcement across Tottenham's website and social media platforms, the Malian international has put pen to paper on a deal with the club, committing his future through the summer of 2026.

Bissouma's addition adds further to what has proven an altogether fruitful opening to the summer on the part of the transfer team at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

After clinching a top-4 berth last time out, the capital outfit have not been at all shy in making clear their intent to mount a sustained challenge to the heavyweights of the Premier League from next season on.

First through the door in north London late last month came veteran wide-man Ivan Perisic, before backup was secured for Hugo Lloris in the form of Fraser Forster.

Not only that, but Spurs are also understood to be expressing a keen interest in the signature of both Everton star Richarlison, and Leeds United's Raphinha.
