David Moyes responds to Man United & Chelsea’s links to Declan Rice

West Ham see off Burnley
West Ham returned to league action on Saturday afternoon.
The Hammers headed into the tie in decent form, having remained unbeaten in their prior four outings across all competitions.
And, versus Burnley, David Moyes’ men managed to keep alive this streak with a deserved 3 points.
Michail Antonio fired the hosts into the lead with just nine minutes on the clock, with West Ham having gone on to hold onto their one-goal advantage for the remainder of the 90 minutes.
Their latest win guided the Londoners up to 9th in the Premier League table, within three points of the top five.
Moyes responds to Rice transfer speculation
On the back of his side’s latest triumph, meanwhile, David Moyes spoke to the media.
When doing so, the Scotsman was drawn on the recent transfer speculation surrounding star performer Declan Rice.
Both Manchester United and Chelsea were linked with the promising young midfielder earlier this week.
However, post-Burnley, Moyes was quick to play down such rumours, explaining:
“They’re not true [rumours of a bid], we’ve had no contact from either of those clubs regarding Declan and we wouldn’t want any anyway.
“He’s doing great for us, he’s a big leader now, he’s taken a lot of the weight off Mark Noble. He’s turning out to be a really good player but also a really good boy and good around the club.”
