Mino Raiola is a busy man right now
Leave aside super-agent Jorge Mendes, right now the agent that is dominating the transfer gossip pages is Mino Raiola.
With Zlatan Ibrahimovic likely to leave Manchester United and the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba also on the move, Raiola is a man in demand.
Raiola also represents Henrikh Mkhitaryan and the Armenia captain has been heavily linked with an exit from Borussia Dortmund as his contract runs out next year and he has indicated that he will not renew the deal.
Raiola confirms Man United offer
Mino Raiola has been speaking to a lot of media outlets over the past few days and has confirmed Manchester United’s offer for Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
In an interview with Bild, Raiola said: “We have both taken very different views and fight for them like lions. (Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim) Watzke walks 180 degrees into one direction and I 180 degrees into the other. But even though it does not look like it right now, I still hope for a sensible solution.”
Raiola continued: “Such an offer to join Manchester United might only come once in a lifetime for a player and nobody can guarantee us that the door will still be open for Micki next season. Manchester are Micki’s dream club, he wants to join them by any means.”
Bild also questioned Raiola on whether Manchester United will increase their offer for Mkhitaryan: “That’s not my task. My task is to represent my player’s interests. It’s known what Micki wants.”
Good news for Manchester United, who look to be in pole position to sign one of the best players in the Bundesliga…
