Middlesbrough & Stoke
A rumour is gathering apace on Thursday claiming that Middlesbrough are closing in on Stoke’s Bojan Krkic.
The 26-year-old former Barcelona youth product is under contract at the Bet365 Stadium until 2020.
However Bojan seems to be outside of Mark Hughes plans this season. He’s only played 90 minutes once for Stoke this season, and that was in round two of the campaign in a match against Man City.
In Stoke’s last 10 matches in the Premier League, Bojan has only featured on four occasions.
So can Boro land the forward?
According to the rumour mill, Boro are looking to take Bojan off Stoke’s hands this January.
Aitor Karanka is tipped to complete the deal for £7-8m.
Middlesbrough are currently 16th in the EPL with 19 points from their 20 matches.
Boro’s biggest problem this season has been scoring goals. They’ve only scored 17 times in the top flight, which is the joint-lowest return along with Hull.

Brentford won't accept £12m for Hogan yet we're accepting £8m for Bojan. Absolute joke.

Bojan. Jese. Both followed by Karanka on twitter. Expecting bids for Lee Dixon & Rafa Nadal before the end of the month.
