Manchester United want £60m man to partner Harry Kane

Manchester United will have to stump up a big fee to sign a rising talent as a partner for Harry Kane.

The man in question is Rasmus Hojlund.

Hojlund joined Atalanta from Austrian side Sturm Graz last summer.

He has impressed during his spell in Serie A, scoring eight goals in 30 league appearances and seven goals in various cup competitions.

All of Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal have been credited with an interest in the Dane.

But it is seemingly Manchester United who have the biggest plans for the striker.

According to Football Transfers, Man United have an interest in Hojlund, but will struggle to get the 20-year-old in for less than £60m, which could be a significant investment as it’s claimed they actually want him as a potential partner for Harry Kane, rather than as an alternative target in that area of the pitch.

Spending well over £100m on two strikes may seem like a lot, but the no.9 spot has been United’s weakest area this season.

Wout Weghorst’s loan is about to end and he has not been great anyway, whilst Anthony Martial is very injury-prone and inconsistent.
