Manchester United transfer news: Felix loan, Enzo boost & more

Here is all the latest Manchester United transfer news.

First up, Manchester United have been handed a significant boost in their pursuit of Joao Felix in the January transfer window. United are searching for a new centre-forward after Cristiano Ronaldo’s turbulent departure last month.

Journalist Duncan Castles has now reported that the Spanish outfit are prepared to let Felix join a Premier League club on loan if they are ready to pay a loan fee of £8 million plus the player’s salary.

Next, Manchester United have reportedly ‘overtaken’ Liverpool in the race to sign World Cup winner Enzo Fernandez, according to journalist Bruno Andrade.

Fernandez, who won Young Player of the Year in Qatar, has been on the radar of multiple European clubs. But the Red Devils are reportedly ramping up their efforts to sign Enzo.

Erik Ten Hag is said to be prepared to trigger the Benfica midfielder’s release clause worth €120m to avoid unnecessary transfer battles.

Finally, according to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato, United boss Ten Hag has ‘chosen’ Goncalo Ramos as his number one centre-forward for the future.

It is added that Benfica are reluctant to part ways with their prized asset in January unless his €120m buy-out clause is triggered.
