Man United to sell Paul Pogba if he doesn’t sign new deal

Pogba speculation continues

On the whole, Paul Pogba has enjoyed a fairly decent 2020/21 campaign thus far.

The Frenchman has had a couple of injury issues, which have seen him miss some games.

But when fit, for the most part, Pogba has been in decent form – with the midfielder having provided three assists in his last three Premier League starts.

Despite such exploits, though, agent Mino Raiola claimed back in December that his client was unhappy at Old Trafford, and that it was ‘over’ for him at Manchester United:

And this has been followed in more recent times by Raiola once again attempting to create speculation surrounding his client potentially joining Real Madrid.

Pogba could be sold if no deal is signed

All of this, of course, comes with Pogba having just over a year left on his current contract, which runs until the summer of 2022.

As such, with the summer window fast approaching, it would make sense for Man United to move Pogba on, rather than potentially losing him for free in a year’s time, on in a cut-price deal next January.

And now, it appears that the Red Devils have indeed taken such a stance when it comes to their star midfielder’s future.

The Sun have reported that Pogba will be sold this summer, if he refuses to commit to signing a new deal at Old Trafford.

It is added, however, that the Manchester giants remain confident of keeping the Frenchman, even though it will likely cost a fortune to do so.
