Cristiano Ronaldo to Man United?
Surely Man United have absolutely zero chance of signing Cristiano Ronaldo this summer, right?
Well, Man United have a sliver of a chance of getting the deal done according to Spanish paper El Pais on Wednesday.
El Pais, a paper that usually steers away from transfer gossip, have released a scary update for Real Madrid as they announce that Ronaldo is not happy.
Real Madrid v Fiorentina
On Wednesday night, Real Madrid take on Italian side Fiorentina at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The sides are facing off in the Trofeo Santiago Bernabeu.
The friendly will see Cristiano Ronaldo return to action for Los Blancos.
Ronaldo is currently banned from playing for Real in competitive games after he picked up a five match suspension following the Spanish Super Cup.
Cristiano pushed the referee after he was sent off against Barcelona.
The Portuguese star remains furious with his ban, and Ronaldo took to social media on Tuesday night to express his anger at his situation.
Leaving Real Madrid before August 31
The summer transfer window closes at the end of the month, on August 31.
Could Ronaldo leave Madrid in under ten days?
That situation is floated in El Pais, and they confirm that Ronaldo is still hugely upset in Madrid.
Earlier in the summer, after the Spanish tax man accused Ronaldo of failing to pay $16.5 million, Cristiano stated he could be ready to leave La Liga.
Could his five match ban push Ronaldo closer to the Real exit door?
El Pais big up that possibility, telling their readers the following:
Two months after his agent Jorge Mendes began studying possible departures for his client, Cristiano has not opened his mouth to say whether he stays or leaves.
“For now he is only focused on work. He is angry about the five game ban and, while he is working as always with the team, we can not guarantee if he stays or goes. We will see what will happen between now and August 31,” said a member of his inner circle.
