Man United’s midfield search
Jose Mourinho has already made it crystal clear that he expects more Man United signings before the Premier League restarts on August 12.
Man United have been fairly active in the summer market. Things kicked off with Victor Lindelof’s arrival from Benfica, while the Red Devils beat Chelsea to sign Romelu Lukaku from Everton.
But the Special One has been calling for a new centre-mid to be signed, and Ed Woodward seems to be struggling.
Perhaps that’s why he’s yet to join up with the United squad in America…
Ed Woodward still not here. Due next week, I assume for the derby in Houston.

Nainggolan & Roma
One of the supposed targets for Man United this summer is Belgium international star Radja Nainggolan.
Stories suggesting Nainggolan leave Roma this summer have been building for weeks.
The Belgian was one of the stars of Serie A last season, hitting 15 goals in all competitions. His previous career best had been six. He also provided seven assists as well as his trademark tenacious style of play.
The 29-year-old is under contract with Roma until 2020, while he’s recently suggested he’s keen on agreeing a new Roma deal but the club are stalling.
Last weekend, during a live Instagram Stories broadcast, a fan asked when he was going to sign a new Roma contract. He replied: “I’m waiting, as always!”
But on Saturday night there appears to be movement. Sky Sports Italia are reporting that Nainggolan has agreeing to a contract extension with Roma.
His new deal will survive until 2021, while his salary is going up to four million euros a season.

Who can United get?
The market is shrinking.
Tiemoue Bakayoko has joined Chelsea, Tottenham appear determined to hold onto Eric Dier, Chelsea seem to be baulking at a deal for Nemanja Matic, while links to players like Julian Weigl feel weak.
With less than four weeks to go till the EPL kicks off, Man United are starting to look a little lost.
