Man United to break record to sign Paul Pogba, Mino Raiola may sell 3 stars to Mourinho [Telegraph]

Paul Pogba & Man United

The rumours won’t go away.

The Telegraph on Saturday night have again bigged up belief that Manchester United could sign Paul Pogab from Juventus this summer.

The broadsheet believe the Red Devils are in a straight shooting match with Real Madrid for the French international midfielder.

Manchester City are out of the race for financial reasons, while Barcelona are also not signing Pogba for cash concerns.

It’s noted that “Chelsea and Paris St-Germain also have a long-standing interest in Pogba”, however Man United are billed to be leading the race this weekend.

But to get the deal done, United have to pay through the nose. As reported in the Telegraph:

Manchester United and Real Madrid will need to smash the world transfer record to sign Paul Pogba if Juventus agree to sell the France midfielder this summer.

Any deal would have to surpass the £85.3 million Real paid Tottenham Hotspur for Gareth Bale in 2013 and could even see Pogba become the world’s first £100 million footballer, once add-ons and agent fees are factored in.

Mino Raiola & Man United

At the centre of the Pogba story is his agent, Mino Raiola.

Raiola keeps on popping up on the radar at Old Trafford this summer, as the Italian could be about to sell three of his clients to Jose Mourinho:

[United] are also locked in talks with Raiola about signing two of his other high-profile clients, Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and hope that situation could also work in their favour.

Will United get any of these players?
