Man City facing competition from Wolves for Antonee Robinson, Bruno Lage’s side agree deal for right-back

Man City facing competition from Wolves for Antonee Robinson, Bruno Lage’s side agree deal for right-back

Two Premier League sides have been credited with an interest in Fulham defender, Antonee Robinson.

Robinson’s Fulham stint

Antonee Robinson joined Fulham prior to the 2020/21 campaign, after impressing with Wigan.

The Cottagers paid a minimal fee for the American, believed to be less than £2m.

Despite Robinson having had no top-flight experience to his name before this past season, though, Scott Parker opted to hand the 23-year-old a starting role fairly quickly.

The left-back, who can also be used as a wing-back in a back-five, featured 28 times for Fulham, as the Londoners failed in their attempts to avoid relegation following the club’s return to the Premier League.

Whilst Fulham are now gearing up for another season in the Championship, though, it appears that Robinson could once again find himself plying his trade in the English top-flight.

Man City and Wolves want Fulham defender Antonee Robinson

Manchester City would be linked with the Fulham defender back at the beginning of June.

And now, it appears as though City are facing competition for Robinson.

As per the Sun:

MANCHESTER CITY face a shock transfer tussle with Wolves in the race for Fulham’s USA left-back Antonee Robinson.

It is claimed that Wolves have always appreciated Robinson’s talents, but have held off from formalising their interest in the past. However, if the defender becomes available for around £10m, the Midlands-based outfit will reportedly reignite their pursuit.

Elsewhere, Wolves are said to have reached an agreement for Hungarian right-back, Bendeguz Bolla:
