Lozano on West Ham’s shortlist/Hammers leading race for Man United’s Lingard

West Ham linked with Lozano
West Ham sold Sebastien Haller to Ajax earlier this month.
This has, of course, reduced the Hammers’ options at centre-forward.
In turn, David Moyes and co. are known to be in the market for some fresh legs up top.
The Londoners have already been linked with Arkadiusz Milik (who has since joined Marseille), Sevilla hitman Youssef En-Nesyri and Celtic’s Odsonne Edouard.
And now, yet another centre-forward has been tipped to join the Londoners.
That man, according to Goal, is Choco Lozano.
The 27-year-old is currently plying his trade in Spain with Cadiz CF, whom he joined last summer from Girona.
Lozano has since gone on to notch 16 appearances in La Liga, though he has only scored three and assisted two – a fairly average record for a striker.
Nevertheless, West Ham are said to be keen, though the above-linked report from Goal makes clear that there are currently no negotiations underway between the Hammers and Cadiz.

Man United’s Jesse Lingard to join West Ham on loan?
One player whom West Ham do appear to be in talks for, however, is Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard.
The 28-year-old has of course struggled for regular football for several seasons now.
He has managed just three appearances for the Red Devils this term, garnering just 179 minutes of action.
In turn, an exit has inevitably been touted this month, with the BBC having claimed that West Ham are currently leading the race to sign the Englishman on loan.
The report adds that there is interest in Lingard from elsewhere, but David Moyes’ men are currently best placed to strike a deal:
