Arsenal vs Liverpool

Besiktas seem to be in a solid negotiating position over Vida.

The Croat is under contract with the Turkish club until 2022.

On Wednesday, there are a couple of updates on Liverpool and Arsenal’s possible moves for Vida this week.

Starting with Turkish outlet MyNet, they report that Besiktas expect offers from Arsenal and/or Liverpool for Vida by Thursday.

It’s added that Besiktas are cool on any offers from Arsenal involving a player-plus-cash. Instead Besiktas want as much cash as possible.

In FotoSpor, the update is that Arsenal are expected to bid for Vida. The Gunners want Vida as cover for injured centre-half Laurent Koscielny.

For the record, many often take updates from Turkey with a large pinch of salt. It’s often unclear how much credibility should be given to such Turkish updates.
