The first concerns Liverpool’s midfield. The Reds are struggling for form this season and part of that is down to their midfield.
Jordan Henderson is getting on in years and Fabinho has not been anywhere close to his best of late.
So, a midfield signing in the near future would make sense. The main name linked has been Jude Bellingham of Borussia Dortmund.
However, Football Insider report that Liverpool are pushing hard to land Jude Bellingham but are facing increasingly strong competition from Europe’s elite for the Borussia Dortmund sensation.
It is added that Jurgen Klopp is also a huge admirer of Declan Rice and believes he would be a perfect fit for his team.
Elsewhere, Liverpool are also said to be still interested in Stade Rennais winger Jeremy Doku after being linked over the last year.
As per Calciomercato: “The Premier continues to keep their eyes on him: Liverpool have never stopped thinking about it and will return, Chelsea and Arsenal were not too determined five years ago to follow him closely. And they are always there too. In Italy the name of Doku is on the notebooks of the Napoli observers, while at Juventus it was proposed a couple of years ago: his agents are the same as the Polish goalkeeper Szczesny.”
