Liverpool transfer news

In this article we will bring you all of today’s Liverpool transfer news. Make sure to check back to the site for more daily transfer updates throughout the summer.

Kostas Tsimikas staying put

Kosta Tsimikas would sign for Liverpool during the delayed summer transfer window.

However, in part due to some injury issues, Tsimikas has hardly featured for the Reds yet.

In fact, the left-back has so far notched just 225 minutes of action for Jurgen Klopp’s side, with only six of those minutes coming in the Premier League.

So, you may assume that Liverpool would be open to departing ways with the Greek if the right offer were to come in.

But, according to Sport Witness citing II Mattino, that does not look to be the case, with it instead claimed that Liverpool have made it clear to Napoli that Tsimikas will not be leaving the club this summer.

Danjuma of interest to Liverpool

Elsewhere, Liverpool have been credited with an interest in Bournemouth winger, Arnaut Danjuma.

Danjuma joined Bournemouth in 2019 from Club Brugge. The winger was unable to help the Cherries avoid relegation, but he has since shone for them in the Championship.

In 33 league games last term, he scored 15 and assisted a further seven as Bournemouth narrowly missed out on promotion to the Premier League.

But with the Cherries now set for another season in England’s second-tier, Danjuma’s future has been called into question of late.

A report last month, which also credited Leicester with an interest in the winger, stated that Bournemouth had set an asking price of 35 million pounds for Danjuma.

Now, it appears Liverpool are also taking note of the 24-year-old. Sport Witness, citing Spanish outlet Marca, claim that Liverpool are among several Premier League clubs interested in Danjuma.

Villareal are also said to be interested, but cannot afford Bournemouth’s asking price.

Guido Rodriguez linked

Finally, Liverpool have been linked with a move for Guido Rodriguez.

The 27-year-old is a central midfielder currently plying his trade in La Liga with Real Betis.

Arsenal have previously been linked with a move for Rodriguez earlier this year.

And now, Larazon are reporting that Liverpool ‘think’ of Rodriguez as a replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum, who recently departed for PSG on a free transfer.
