Liverpool target ‘will definitely’ leave this summer amid heavy Bundesliga interest

Karim Adeyemi primed for Bundesliga return after heavy courting

German wunderkind Karim Adeyemi looks set to make a highly-anticipated return to the nation of his birth next summer as the RB Salzburg starlet continues to receive advances from a trio of Bundesliga clubs.

Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, and RB Leipzig have all been courting the former Bayern youth academy prospect, with the Bundesliga triumvirate already opening lines of communication with Adeyemi and his camp.

According to @iMiaSanMia while citing SkySports, the Munich-born forward is all but guaranteed to leave the Austrian giant in the coming summer, with the 19-year-old full German international likely to fetch Salzburg somewhere between €30-40million.

Should his move away from Red Bull Arena exceed the €30million mark, it would trump the same figure that the club received for Patson Daka this past summer when the Zambian striker left Austria for Leicester City.

Adeyemi, who himself openly stated he would jump at the chance to return to Bayern should the opportunity ever present itself, has seemingly already guaranteed his next destination.

Though Borussia Dortmund is set to lose star striker Erling Haaland in the same summer, there is no telling how Die Schwarzgelben plan to replace the Norwegian goal machine on a tactical level under new boss Marco Rose, while RB Leipzig just purchased Portuguese international André Silva in addition to bagging former Ajax starlet Brian Brobbey on a free transfer.

Liverpool set to miss out on German prodigy

With the increasing likelihood of Adeyemi returning home to Bayern (barring an offer from Dortmund or Leipzig that is too good to pass up), Liverpool look set to miss out on a long-term replacement for current main center-forward Roberto Firmino.

Though Diogo Jota continues to be utilized through the middle of the main front-three, uncertainty also surrounding the contract situation involving Mohamed Salah leaves plenty of scope for the Reds to push for reinforcements or replacements in the forward line next summer.

Despite those realities, Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp will have to pull out all the stops and then some if he is to convince Adeyemi to pass up a chance to star in his home country for one of the biggest clubs on the planet.
