Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is set to have a busy summer.
Klopp will be looking to turn his current squad, which finished four in the Premier League last season, into one which can mount a genuine title challenge.
The Reds have already brought in U20 World Cup player of the tournament Dom Solanke from Chelsea.
The 19-year-old is set to be joined by a number of other summer signings, with Southampton defenders and Roma’s Mohamed Salah linked.
A host of youngsters and fringe squad players were released by the club after the expiration of their contracts on 1 July.
Jake Brimmer and Jack Dunn were let go by the Reds, as was 40-year-old reserve goalkeeper Alex Manninger.
24-year-old youth product Andre Wisdom is set to be sold this summer.
The defender, who broke onto the scene in 2012 as a youngster, has been loaned out four times since 2013 and had a spell at Red Bull Salzburg last season.
Derby are leading the race for Wisdom’s signature, being the club that loaned him in 2013.
Birmingham and Celtic – managed by Wisdom’s former boss Brendan Rodgers – are also interested.
The former England U21 international is set to cost around £4million.
Tom Brewitt, Madger Gomes, Kane Lewis and Adam Phillips have also left the club.
