Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus is having an excellent 2022/23 for club and country.
He has scored 10 and assisted two in 21 outings for Ajax in all competitions.
Then, in Qatar, Kudus netted twice during Ghana’s brief stint in the tournament.
Following his impressive displays this winter, Kudus has attracted the attention of several top clubs.
One of these has been Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side.
Now, Fabrizio Romano has revealed that the Reds have been scouting the midfielder.
“Liverpool have sent their scouts to follow Kudus already few months ago. On investments, we will see in the summer because at the moment Jude Bellingham is their only summer target.”
No potential transfer fee is mentioned, but it is expected that Kudus’ displays at the World Cup will have raised his price-tag somewhat.
Ajax also lost a number of quality players this past summer, so they are unlikely to be keen on selling off more, even for a good price.
