‘Like a new signing’ Manchester United fans in agreement over first half performance against Leicester City

Manchester United fans took to social media in their droves to single out one man

Manchester United fans took to social media in their droves to single out one man as they took apart Leicester City in the first half at the King Power Stadium.

In a game generally low in quality, the Red Devils held the initiative for most of the first period, and opened the scoring through Jadon Sancho after the Foxes had left themselves woefully exposed.

A single long ball left Manchester United 2 vs 2 against the Leicester defenders, and Jadon Sancho kept his cool to round Danny Ward and slot.

And Leicester looked as flat as the atmosphere that surrounded them as they looked for a way back into the game, and their first win of the season.

It was the Red Devils that controlled proceedings though, without threatening a second goal, and fans were quick to point out the performances of one man in particular.

That man? Defensive midfielder Scott McTominay. As can be seen below, they took to Twitter in their droves to praise the Scot’s performance.
