Leicester City boss Craig Shakespeare has confirmed that the club have received a bid from Roma for want-a-way star Riyad Mahrez, but that they have rejected it.
Currently, it’s not clear if the bid was way below what the club want to get for Mahrez, or if they really do just want to keep their best player at the club.
Of course, keeping Mahrez may look good on paper, but if his body language is anything to go by, he’s seriously unhappy, and they may even be better off cashing in and bringing another winger in.

We’ve seen time and time again in football how keeping unhappy players can affect the team in a negative way, and the Mahrez situation looks to be no different.
It was a player revolt that saw Claudio Ranieri lose his job last season to boot, and Jose Mourinho the year before, so quite what the club are thinking this time remains to be seen.
Should Arsenal lose Alexis Sanchez, they may even come back in for Mahrez, who always made it clear he felt he had bigger ambitions that Leicester City.
