Joey Barton has given an eight minute long interview with the BBC’s Radio Lancashire explaining how his move to Burnley came about.
The midfielder was released by QPR at the end of last season, and was on the hunt for a new club all summer.
Barton appeared to be on the brink of joining West Ham before that deal collapsed, and Barton has now revealed he also had a big money offer from a Swiss club playing in this season’s Europa League.
The battle-hard pro, however, decided that he preferred Burnley over a move to the continent, and Sean Dyche was a big factor in his move to Turf Moor.
