Brazilian news outlet UOL Esporte are reporting on Saturday, that Internacional have sold Brazilian midfielder Allan to Liverpool for £500,000.
News that Liverpool were interested in Allan, 18, was also reported by the Guardian this weekend.
The British broadsheet noted that the Reds were eyeing up Allan Rodrigues de Souza, to give him his full name, to “strengthen their academy ranks”, rather than thinking the teenager was due to walk into the Liverpool first team.
Moreover, the Guardian identified that Liverpool first spotted Allan at the Frenz International Cup held in Indonesia and Kuala Lumpur earlier this year.
According to UOL Esporte, Internacional have now “sold” the midfielder to Liverpool. The deal was reportedly brokered by Brazilian agent Giuliano Bertolucci.
Lucas Leiva talked to Rádio Guaíba. Says: "I know Allan. Little professional experience, but if Liverpool are signing him, he has quality."

Allan never made a first team appearance for Internacional.
The teenager is billed as a defensive centre-mid.
It’s also worth noting that the Allan to Anfield story is covered on the back page of the Liverpool Echo on Sunday.
Liverpool have already signed Roberto Firmino, James Milner, Danny Ings, Nathaniel Clyne, Adam Bogdan and Joe Gomez this summer.
