Steven Gerrard has spoken out about the possibility of Aston Villa signing Phillipe Coutinho on a permanent basis after the Brazilian put on another solid display vs Leeds United.
Villa faced off with Leeds on Thursday evening, likely expecting a tough test after the Whites had looked a much more organised unit during Jesse Marsch’s first game in charge last weekend.

The South American has also provided three assists for the Midlands-based outfit, taking his goal contribution tally to nearly one a game in England this term.
Steven Gerrard on signing Coutinho permanently

"The option is there. If it was my money, I think you know the answer."
