Redknapp and Henry

Has Thierry Henry rejected Aston Villa for Monaco?

Rumour: Monaco to sack Leonardo Jardim

Major changes could soon be afoot at AS Monaco.

It’s been a disastrous start to the season for Monaco in Ligue 1

Monaco are third bottom of the French top flight after nine matches this season.

Despite having a star-studded team Monaco only have six points on the board.

The club, who has lost their last four matches in all competitions, are already four points adrift of safety.

Are Monaco about to sack manager Leonardo Jardim?

Those rumours are flying about on social media on Tuesday.

Thierry Henry & Aston Villa

In recent days there has been plenty of speculation that Thierry Henry could be the new Aston Villa manager.

Indeed, Henry had been tipped to take over the Villa job with John Terry as his number two.

However, on Tuesday morning reports out of Belgium suggested that Henry’s move to Aston Villa may not happen.

Harry Redknapp has since piped up on TalkSport radio to claim that while John Terry may join Villa, Thierry Henry is set to give the job offer a miss.

And now, on Tuesday afternoon, reports out of France are claiming that the Arsenal icon could be the next Monaco manager.

It’s been ‘confirmed’ that Monaco have been in contact with Henry.

It’s worth mentioning that Arsene Wenger used to be the Monaco coach before he joined Arsenal.
