Harry Kane stars for England versus Spain
Harry Kane did not get on the scoresheet for England against Spain on Monday night but the Spurs striker had a super game.
Kane was involved in the build-up for Raheem Sterling’s opener.
The Tottenham striker then pulled out an incredible assist for the second England goal, setting up Marcus Rashford.
And, Kane made it two assists in nine minutes with a knock back at the far post for Raheem Sterling’s second.
Kane was energetic and powerful throughout the game and put in a real captain’s shift for England.
The never-ending Harry Kane to Real Madrid rumours
Rumours linking Harry Kane with Real Madrid have been around for some time now.
They moved up a notch a little in the summer when Cristiano Ronaldo left Real Madrid for Juventus and Los Blancos needed a new striker.
Kane is, of course, contracted to Tottenham until 2024 but with Spurs players the rumours are unlikely to go away.
After all, Real Madrid’s three Champions League wins in a row owed a lot to two former Spurs players in Luka Modric and Gareth Bale.
Harry Kane asked if he is joining Real Madrid
After the England win over Spain, Harry Kane was asked by a Marca journalist regarding a move to Real Madrid.
Even if Kane had eyes on a move to Real Madrid, there is no way he would engage such a question as he left the stadium.
Kane simply says: “Sorry, not today!”

An away match at West Ham is followed by a trip to Eindhoven for a crucial Champions League clash with PSV.
Kane played 90 minutes of both England matches during the international break, a draw at Croatia and win over Spain.
