Should Everton complete the signing of the Icelandic midfielder, he would become the Meyerside club’s eleventh signing of this summer window.
Everton have already signed the likes of Wayne Rooney and Davy Klassen who play in a similar position to Sigurdsson, however, Everton have huge cash to spend following the £75m from of Romelu Lukaku to Machester United.
Everton are also set to receive a fee for Ross Barkley believed to be in excess of £35m, with Ronald Koeman confirming that the England international will leave the club this summer.
Sigurdsson midfielder enjoyed a very fruitful season for Swansea City last Premier League campaign, scoring 9 and achieving 13 assists in 38 appearances.
According to the same source, Everton could be set to announce the signing as soon as Friday or Saturday.
