It’s perhaps taken a day linger than many Tottenham fans expected, but Tuesday morning has kicked off with news that Spurs have signed Vincent Janssen from AZ Alkmaar.
While the news has yet to be confirmed by the two clubs, the Telegraph’s Matt Law has taken to social media to confirm the deal is done.
It’s now just a formality for the clubs to confirm the transfer.

Who is Vincent Janssen?
According to reports, Tottenham will pay a fee of 22 million euros for Vincent Janssen. This translates to just under 19 million pounds.
For the record, AZ signed the attacker for just 500,000 euros last summer.
The Dutch hitman is expected to challenge Harry Kane for a starting spot in Mauricio Pochettino’s starting line-up.
The 22-year-old Dutchman was top scorer in the Eredivisie last season after he bagged 27 goals for Alkmaar.
He’s also taken to international football like a duck to water, scoring three goals in his first five appearances for the national team.
