Man United & Charlie McCann
The transfer window may be close, but Manchester United have continued their recruitment this week.
The Coventry Telegraph have confirmed that Man United have signed 15-year-old midfielder Charlie McCann from the Sky Blues.
The local paper have reported the following on the new Red Devils acquisition:
The Sky Blues are to receive a fee for 15-year-old midfielder Charlie McCann who was called up for England Under-16 duty earlier this summer.
McCann has supported the Red Devils since a small boy and the lure of Old Trafford was clearly a major factor – his parents having told City that he would have turned down any other club.
