Dean Henderson tipped for January loan move/ Man United & Juventus linked with Isak Bergmann Johannesson

A number of transfer rumours surrounding Manchester United have emerged online this weekend.

Henderson eyeing loan

The first concerns Dean Henderson, and his short-term future at Old Trafford.

Shot-stopper Henderson of course enjoyed a superb 2019/20 on the books of Sheffield United.

Henderson had excelled with the Blades over the season prior, though it remained unclear if the Englishman was ready to make the step-up to the Premier League.

But, in the end, he went on to take to the English top-flight like a duck to water, playing a key role in the superb campaign enjoyed by Chris Wilder’s men.

In turn, though, after proving himself ready for a regular starting berth in the Premier League, question marks soon began to surface over the shot-stopper’s Manchester United future, with David de Gea of course the long-time first-choice at Old Trafford.

Henderson nevertheless eventually came to the decision to test his talents back in Manchester, battling it out for the no.1 spot.

To this point, however, things aren’t exactly working out to plan for the English international.

The 23-year-old has been afforded just three starts this season, two of which came in the League Cup vs lower-league opposition.

Now, with the winter transfer window on the horizon, speculation surrounding Henderson’s future has once again resurfaced.

According to the Sun, the English international is keen to secure a loan move away from Manchester in January, to ensure he maintains his place in the Three Lions’ squad for the upcoming European Championships.

When it comes to potential destinations for Henderson, the Sun claim that Bournemouth are exploring a loan move for the shot-stopper. However, it is added that Henderson himself would prefer Premier League game-time.

Leeds and Brighton are also named as potentially interested parties, with both sides having endured less than impressive starts to the campaign from a defensive standpoint.

Man United linked with Bergmann Johannesson

Elsewhere, Manchester United are being credited with an interest in Isak Bergmann Johannesson.

Bergmann Johannesson is a 17-year-old prodigy garnering widespread attention for his performances in Sweden with IFK Norrköping.

Despite his tender years, the teen was handed his first senior Iceland cap earlier this week vs England.

And now, according to the Mirror, both Man United and Juventus are expressing an interest in the midfielder. It is the latter, though, who are thought to be ready to step up their interest in Bergmann Johannesson.

In terms of a potential fee for the youngster, it is claimed that Norrköping want £5m upfront, followed by add-ons.
