Confirmed: Man United target Enzo Diaz

Man United & Enzo Diaz

According to Argentine news outlet Ole, Manchester United are 100% tracking Argentine defender Enzo Diaz.

Enzo Diaz is a 21-year-old left-back. He players for the small Argentine second division club, Agropecuario.

Links between Man United and Diaz have existed for a while.

Earlier in 2017, Diaz confirmed in an interview to TYC Sports that two Manchester United scouts had watched him and were impressed with his performance.

It’s clear that Man United’s scouts have continued to keep tabs on Diaz throughout 2017.

Bernardo Grobocopatel, the president of Agropecuario, has spoken to Ole about Man United’s interest in their defender:

The scout who came to see him was with sitting with me in the box.

River Plate also in the mix

Ole also report that Man United may soon have to make a decision on whether they want to offer Enzo Diaz a chance.

Rumours are circling that Rover Plate are ready to make a move for the left-back.

Grobocopatel told Ole that there has been no contract from River Plate so far.

West Brom vs Man United

Sunday’s Premier League action starts off at the Hawthorns.

West Brom, still searching for their first win under new boss Alan Pardew, take on Jose Mourinho’s Man United.

The Baggies produced a fine display at Anfield in a 0-0 draw. They caused the Reds plenty of frustration, even managing to nullify the threat that is Mo Salah.

The crucial point moves the Baggies out of the bottom three and they will now be looking to replicate such a performance when Manchester United visit.

A solitary Romelu Lukaku goal handed United the spoils against Bournemouth in midweek, as Jose Mourinho’s side put derby disappointment behind them.

Man United will have seen both Tottenham and Liverpool struggle versus West Brom and will be needing to find a way of overcoming them, in what should be a tricky encounter.
