Kenedy joins Newcastle United
It’s finally over!
Chelsea and Newcastle United have confirmed on Thursday that Kenedy has once again joined the Magpies.
Kenedy went out on loan last season from the Blues to Newcastle, and that loan spell was promising.
The Brazilian played 13 Premier League matches for the Toon. He scored two goals and chipped in with two assists as Newcastle beat the drop.
And now Kenedy has returned to Newcastle on loan for the 2018-19 season. As confirmed by Newcastle on their website:
Newcastle United have completed the signing of Kenedy on loan from Chelsea.
The Brazilian winger – who enjoyed a successful spell on loan at St. James’ Park last term – returns to the club until the end of the 2018/19 season.
Newcastle fans will be interested to know whether they’ve secured an option to sign Kenedy in a permanent deal from Chelsea.
The Brazilian would appear to have little future at Chelsea.

West Ham & Jamaal Lascelles
Rumours have been around for months linking West Ham with Newcastle United captain Jamaal Lascelles.
Lascelles had a terrific season at St James’ Park last year as Newcastle beat the drop.
Whenever Lascelles scored, Newcastle seemed to win. While at the other end of the pitch, the young Toon defender lead his backline.
Lascelles is under contract at Newcastle until 2023. However he’s only thought to be earning 40,000 pounds a week.
Sky Sports have this week reported that West Ham have bid for Lascelles.
According to Sky Sports, Newcastle have batted away an initial offer of £20 million, rising to £25 million with add-ons, from West Ham for Lascelles.
Sky Sports also claim that Everton are interested in Lascelles.
Unsettling stuff for Jamaal Lascelles coming from people close to his agent. Same stuff that came when he was linked with Everton and Chelsea earlier. Newcastle yet to confirm if this is a serious bid. #nufc #whufc
