Brighton & Leicester’s Leonardo Ulloa
Brighton have confirmed it!
On Monday morning the Seagulls confirmed that Leicester striker Leonardo Ulloa has joined the club again.
Brighton have signed Ulloa from Leicester on loan until the end of the season.
Ulloa moved to Leicester from Brighton in 2014 following two successful seasons in the Championship. He scored 26 goals in 58 appearances for the Seagulls.
Chris Hughton has hailed the deal on the club’s website:
He’s achieved a great deal since he left, including winning a Premier League title, and his experience at this level will be hugely beneficial to us.
Albion fans will know all about him – he’s a physical striker that holds the ball up well, and he’s capable of scoring goals, which we hope he will continue to do back here.

Brighton are 16th in the Premier League, just one point above the drop zone.
Moreover, they’ve only scored 17 goals in 24 league matches this season. Only rock-bottom Swansea (15) have scored less.
If Chris Hughton’s team hope to beat the drop they need to start finding the back of the net.
They’ve already broken their club transfer record bringing in Jurgen Locadia for 14 million pounds from PSV.
Southampton vs Brighton
It’s the south coast battle between Southampton and Brighton on Wednesday night in the Premier League.
Both Brighton and Southampton advanced to the fifth round of the FA Cup last weekend. A late goal from Glenn Murray got Brighton over the line away at Middlesbrough.
Southampton also won 1-0 at the weekend. A goal from Jack Stephens was enough to knock Watford out of the cup.
