First, Portuguese outlet Relevo have revealed that Chelsea’s transfer target, Enzo Fernandez is inching closer to joining the English outfit. The Argentine midfielder was Argentina’s rising hero in the recently concluded World Cup in Qatar. The Blues will offer Enzo a contract worth £120m.
Next, Premier League leaders Arsenal have been working hard to land talented teenage winger Mykhaylo Mudryk, but their latest proposal, reportedly worth £45 million, has been rebuffed by Shakhtar Donetsk.
That has apparently left the door open for other suitors to squeeze through, with The Guardian reporting that Chelsea could hijack Arsenal’s Mudryk operation.
Elsewhere, according to the reports in the Daily Mail, Chelsea are interested in signing Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram.
The Blues face competition from Newcastle for the French midfielder.
Finally, according to Ben Jacobs of CBS Sports, there is a belief that Chelsea could make a move for Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo. Blues’ boss Graham Potter is understood to be a massive fan of the player, and wants to bring him to Stamford Bridge.
Brighton are said to be demanding in excess of £70million for the midfielder.
