Nightmare for Chelsea: PSG target N’Golo Kante, Edinson Cavani for sale

Thomas Tuchel’s PSG overhaul

For the second day running, German news outlet Sportbuzzer have dropped huge Thomas Tuchel, PSG news.

On Monday Sportbuzzer broke the story that Tuchel has agreed a two year deal with PSG, which includes an option for a third year.

Tuesday’s update is on recruitment, as it’s made clear that Tuchel wants to oversee a major overhaul in Paris this summer.

PSG target Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante

In news every Chelsea fan will dread reading, Sportbuzzer announce that Tuchel has targeted Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante as his number one midfield signing.

PSG’s need to rejig their midfield is paramount this summer.

Thiago Motta is a free agent when the season closes, while Javier Pastore and Marco Verratti have been told they are up for sale.

While Monaco’s Fabinho has been talked about in Paris, it’s Chelsea’s Kante that Tuchel wants.

The problem? Chelsea have Kante under contract until 2021. Sportbuzzer believe PSG could offer 80 million euros to tempt the Blues to sell.

Sami Khedira and Julian Weigl are alternatives if Kante proves unattainable.

Oh no, Chelsea: There’s more!

Tuchel is also after a second Chelsea star: Belgian goalie Thibaut Courtois.

Sportbuzzer note that talks between PSG and  Courtois have started.

While Alphonse Areola has been preferred by Unai Emery, it’s thought he’ll leave Paris this summer too.

Tuchel apparent prefers Kevin Trapp to Areola, while Jan Oblak is an alternative to Courtois.

Edinson Cavani for sale

PSG are also ready to sell Edinson Cavani.

The 31-year-old have scored 35 goals in 41 matches this season. Yet the Uruguayan is known for his misses, and PSG would be willing to let him go for around 60 million euros.
