Aaron Ramsey & Arsenal
Will Aaron Ramsey sign a new contract extension at Arsenal?
As the Premier League heads into the final days of the summer transfer window, Arsenal fans are worried about Ramsey.
The 27-year-old’s contract is due to expire next summer and there is a possibility that the player could refuse to sign Arsenal new contract offer.
Why hasn’t Ramsey agreed a new deal yet?
Is it because the midfielder is keen on switching clubs?
Chelsea vs Liverpool
The Express have a ropey record when it comes to transfer gossip.
However, it’s worth noting that journalist Neil Fissler was one of the first to report that Unai Emery would be replacing Arsene Wenger in the Arsenal dugout.
This Sunday, Fissler has returned with a reporting linking Chelsea and Liverpool to Aaron Ramsey. Readers are told:
Chelsea are ready to pip Liverpool by making an eve-of-deadline swoop for Arsenal’s £35million-rated Aaron Ramsey.
Welsh midfielder Ramsey is in the last year of his Gunners contract and they are ready to sell to finance their own transfer ambitions.

Are Liverpool really interested in Ramsey?
That seems difficult to believe considering Jurgen Klopp has already signed Fabinho and Naby Keita this summer in central midfield additions.
Chelsea have also boosted the midfield options this summer signing Jorginho from Napoli.
With N’Golo Kante also a certain starter for Chelsea, that leaves one remaining spot in the Blues midfield up for grabs.
While Ramsey could plug that hole, Chelsea also have Cesc Fabregas and Ross Barkley on their books.

The Gunners beat Serie A side Lazio on Saturday with a comfortable 2-0 victory.
