Watford’s transfer dash
It seems fair to say that the January transfer window is starting to get crazy.
With a day and a half left to do business, rumours are flying left, right and centre at the moment.
It’s been a chaotic January at Vicarage Road. Marco Silva has been sacked as Watford’s manager, and Javi Gracia has been appointed as his successor.
On Tuesday it’s being reported that the Hornets are chasing three midfielders.
Bad news for West Ham: Anderlecht’s Leander Dendoncker
West Ham were recently linked with a possible move for Leander Dendoncker.
In fact Stuart Pearce, the West Ham coach, was a confirmed spectator at Genk 0 – Anderlecht 1 the other week.
Dendoncker is a 22-year-old defensive midfielder who has also been utilised as a defender in the past.
Anderlecht are reportedly looking to get 20 million pounds for their Belgian international.
But West Ham could now be set to lose the race for Dendoncker as Watford have an interest in him.
According to Sky Sports, however, Watford are weighing up Dendoncker against Marseille’s Zambo Anguissa.
The 22-year-old Cameroonian as impressed at OM this season.

Also looking at Dodi Lukebakio
Another player on Watford’s radar is Dodi Lukebakio.
Owned by Anderlecht, but currently on loan at Charleroi, Dodi Lukebakio is a Congolese attacking midfielder.
