Man United, Chelsea & Ivan Perisic

Man United fans are getting excited about pinching Diego Costa from Chelsea.

But over in the Mirror on Monday, the tabloid is reporting that the Blues could pinch Ivan Perisic away from Man United.

Both Chelsea and Man United are still looking to add to their squads in the final weeks of the summer window.

The Blues have signed Alvaro Morata, Antonio Rudiger and Tiemoue Bakayoko, however they’ve also seen a long list of players leave Stamford Bridge.

Similarly, Jose Mourinho is still looking at add to his squad.

Victor Lindelof, Romelu Lukaku and and Nemanja Matic have signed on at Old Trafford, while the Special One is looking to bring in at least one more player.

Inter Milan winger Perisic has been listed as a Man United target for quite a while, but the Express could now hijack that deal.

Will Inter sell?

Whether Perisic will be allowed to leave Inter Milan remains in doubt.

The Nerazzurri have refused to sell their winger for less than €55m.

Moreover, over the weekend Inter manager Luciano Spalletti has said Man United target Ivan Perisic is “determined to stay.”

The Chelsea angle

Nevertheless, the Mirror claim Chelsea could move for the Croatian international. The tabloid report:

Chelsea are considering a late move for long-time Manchester United target Ivan Perisic as part of their end-of-window spree.

United are set to reignite interest in the £48million-rated star but Conte knows all about the 28-year-old winger who scored against his side in pre-season in Singapore.
