Man United, Barcelona & Antoine Griezmann
Spanish daily Mundo Deportivo have splashed their front page on Sunday with a well-known transfer rumour.
For more than half a year there has been speculation over Antoine Griezmann’s Atletico Madrid future.
Back in the summer it looked likely that Griezmann would be joining Man United.
A combination of factors however meant that deal never came to pass, and Romelu Lukaku moved to Old Trafford instead from Everton.
United are still heavily linked with Griezmann as many presume his time at Atleti may soon be coming to an end.
But Barcelona are also in the frame for the French international, and Mundo Deportivo believe the Catalans are already making significant moves.

‘Reaching for Griezmann’
The headline on MD reads: “Reaching for Griezmann”.
As to the big revelation in the article, it’s claimed that Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has already sat down with Griezmann’s family to discuss a Camp Nou move.
The obvious implication is that if Griezmann is open to talking to Barcelona, he’s open to completing a move as well.
Griezmann could join Barcelona in the summer for 100 million euros.

Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho
Whether Griezmann makes the switch in the summer of 2018, however, is still a while away.
Right now, as the January transfer window gets ready to open, Barcelona are still targeting Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho.
Mundo Deportivo make sure to note that Coutinho remains Barcelona’s “priority” this winter.
Liverpool have shown no interest in selling their Brazilian star, but Coutinho has previously made it clear he’d leave Anfield for Barcelona.
