It had recently been confirmed that Aston Villa owe 11 million pounds in transfer fees. While there are reports that Villa’s total debt problems stand at 75 million pounds.

Peter Kenyon has been mooted as a possible candidate to become Villa’s new chief executive.
The 64-year-old is known to Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens, Villa’s new majority shareholders, and has a long-standing relationship with Jorge Mendes, the super-agent enlisted to help with the club’s recruitment.
Loan deal for Man United’s Axel Tuanzebe
At the same time, the Express and Star report that Man United’s Axel Tuanzebe could be on his way back to Aston Villa.
Tuanzebe was farmed out of Old Trafford to Villa last term.
With his first team opportunities limited at Man United, Tuanzebe may be set for another move before the summer transfer window closes.
The 20-year-old centre-back played five games on loan at Villa last season.

Villa’s last competitive match was losing the Championship playoff final to Fulham at Wembley Stadium.
