Arsenal forward Joel Campbell is at the centre of a transfer tug of war in Turkey, as both Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are interested in making a move for the Costa Rica international.
The 23-year-old’s contract at the Emirates runs out next summer, and despite featuring recently for Arsene Wenger’s side, his future in North London remains unclear.
talkSport report that two of Turkey’s major clubs will make an approach for the striker in January, and with only six months left on his current contract come 2016, the player is allowed to talk to other clubs from outside of England.
The Costa Rica international signed for the Gunners back in the summer of 2011, but various loan moves, mean the striker has still made just six league appearances for Arsenal.
Whilst Joel Campbell scored his first ever Premier League goal in the 3-0 win at Swansea last month and also started against Bayern Munich and Tottenham in the last few weeks, don’t be surprised if Arsene Wenger decides the striker’s future lies elsewhere.
