Three Arsenal players fail to convince Thomas Lemar

Arsenal players Alexandre Lacazette, Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud all failed to convince AS Monaco winger to join the club this evening, amid news of a £92m bid, according to Guillem Balague.

French squad

The four players are all currently together with the French national team.

France take on the Netherlands this evening in World Cup 2018 qualifying.

They are all starting except for Alexandre Lacazette who is on the bench.

Laca’s hint

Alexandre Lacazette dropped a hint on social media earlier suggesting that he was working on bringing Thomas Lemar to Arsenal.

However, his attempts seem to be unsuccessful with the move appearing to now be off.

It is understood that Lemar wants to join Liverpool, who are in the Champions League.

Failed attempts

Earlier today Arsenal are believed to have had a £92m bid accepted for Thomas Lemar by AS Monaco.

According to Spanish football expert Guillem Balague, the trio attempted and failed to convince Lemar to join Arsenal.

Failure to do so has also impacted on Sanchez’s proposed move to Machester City.

Arsenal have pulled the plug on Alexis’ move with no replacement available.
