Brazilian journalist Bruno Andrade has written an exclusive piece for Goal.com, claiming that Arsenal are interested in Botafogo’s 17-year-old sensation Luis Henrique.
Henrique is set to become a household name in the next few weeks, as he is set to wear the number 9 shirt for the Brazil at the upcoming under-17 World Cup in Chile.
The under-17 World Cup kicks off next weekend.
According to Bruno Andrade, Luis Henrique is associated with football agent Kia Joorabchian, and he intends to sell the Botafogo forward to the Gunners in the January transfer window.
Luis Henrique had a dream start to his professional career as he scored twice for Botafogo on his debut against Sampaio Corrêa back in July.
Since, Luis Henrique has added two more goals to his tally with strikes against Bahia and Mogi Mirim.
Luis Henrique is under contract with Botafogo until 2017, however the attacker has a release clause of around 40 million pounds.
Could this be a perfect Arsene Wenger signing?
