Declan Rice has proven himself a top-quality defensive midfielder for both club and country over the last few years.
And whilst West Ham fans would love to see Rice remain at their club going forward, it seems very likely that the 23-year-old will be on the move to one of the top-six in the future.
For much of Rice’s time at West Ham, he has been linked with a move back to Chelsea, where he played as a boy.
However, speculation last month suggested that the Blues are not the only club in London with a shot at Rice, with Arsenal also seemingly in the picture.
Now, according to Football Insider, Arsenal are the front runners to secure Rice’s services and are prepared to offer him a bumper deal worth around £200,000 a week.
It is added that Rice wants to join a club in the Champions League and Arsenal seem well-placed to qualify for the premier European competition next season.
